கோழி மசாலா

MASALA KOZHI
(Chicken Masala)

INGREDIENTS
Chicken – 1 Kg.
Onion – 2 Nos.
Tomato – 3 Nos.
Gingelly Oil – ¾ Cup.
Cloves – 2 Nos.
Red Chilies – 10 Nos.
Mustard Seeds – 1 TSP.
Pepper Corns – ¼ TSP.
Cinnamon – 2 Pieces.
Ginger – Small Pieces.
Garlic – 2 Flakes.
Coriander Leaves – ¼ Bunch.
Turmeric Powder & SaltT.T.
Cumin – 1 TSP.
Cashew nuts – 15 Nos.
METHOD
1. First grind the roasted Red Chilies, Mustard, Cumin, Pepper Corns, Cinnamon, and Cloves.
2. Grind Ginger and Garlic. Paste separately and grind the Cashew Nut paste separately.
3. Wash & cut into small pieces the chicken and marinate with turmeric and salt for one hour.
4. Heat oil in the Kadai & fry the chicken and remove.
5. Saute the onion (chopped) in the same oil add the grinding masalas once raw flavour goes off, add the tomatoes, chicken, finely chopped coriander leaves and 1 cup of water. Cook it in simmer, Chicken cook, thick it and remove from fire.
