களறி கறி(திருமண விருந்திற்குரியது)

KALARI KARI
(Mutton Curry in Marriage Occasion)

INGREDIENTS
Mutton – 3 Kg.
Ginger – 100 gms.
Garlic – 100 gms.
Cardamom – 5 Gm.
Clove – 5 gm.
Cinnamon – 5 Gm.
Cashew nut – 100 gms.
Dry Red chilies Powder – 50 Gms.
Turmeric Powder – 40 gms.
Ghee – ½ Kg.
Raw Banana – 5 Nos.
Green Chilies – 25 Gms.
Poppy Seed – 100 gms.
Onion – 150 Gms.
Coconut – 1 small
Curd – 50 Ml.
Salt – T.T.
METHOD :
1. Wash & marinate mutton with Salt & half curd.
2. Make a fine paste to the coconut, poppy seeds, Ginger, and Garlic, Cashew Nuts.
3. Slice the onion, split the green chilies. Cut the raw bananas. Combine the ginger and garlic paste curd and whole garam Masala.
4. Heat the ghee, add the sliced onions brown it, add the mixed tempering, Green Chilies saute well, add the mutton and dry Masala. Cook it in the oil for few minutes.
5. Add the enough of water & cook in until mutton well done.
6. Add the raw banana, cook it until raw banana done.
7. Add the cashew nut, coconut, poppy seed pastes.
8. Cook till the oil oozes off. Remove from fire.
9. Serve with ghee rice.
