MACROON
(Tuticorin District Special Sweet)
(For 1 Kg.)

INGREDIENTS
Cashew nut – 500 gms.
Sugar – 550 gms.
Egg White – 14 Nos.
METHOD :
1. Finely ground the Cashew Nuts.
2. In a big bowl, beat the egg white continuously.
3. The forth will come, add the sugar little by little. Beat continuously. Otherwise the froth will not go down.
4. The colour will turn milky white, add the ground cashew nut. The texture will come creamy.
5. Pour the mixture in a piping bag. Piping the mixture like cone shape in a greased tray.
6. Bake it in oven for 5 minutes.
Note : Beat the egg white continuously without fail. Bake the macroon without burn.
