ஈரல் கறி

EERAL KARI
(Liver Curry)

INGREDIENTS:
Lamb liver : 250gms
Masala powder : 1 tbsp
Ginger & garlic paste: 25gms
Poppy seed paste : 10gms
Coconut : 1/2 no.
Green chilies : 2 nos.
Green peas (soaked) : 50gms
Curd : 100gms
Whole garam Masala : 5 gms
Salt : 1 tsp
Shallots : 100gms
Ghee+oil : 75 gms
Tomato : 1 no.
Curry leaves : few
METHOD:
1. Wash & Cut the liver in to small pieces.
2. Mix the liver with Masala powder, half curd, half ginger & garlic paste, half chopped shallots, green chilies, chopped tomatoes & Cook with enough amount water, until dry
texture. Remove from fire.
3. Add the coconut milk& Poppy seed paste, keep a side.
4. Heat the oil in a another pot, add the sliced shallots, brown it & put the mixture of balanced ginger & garlic paste, curd, whole garam masala, curry leaves, tomato, at a time. Saute it till golden brown. Add the cooked liver & coconut milk mixture. Add the soaked green peas.
5. Cook until the gravy should thick & serve hot.
